Verizon Wireless: Greensburg Pa. Has NO Service when your phone breaks, they replaced a Nokia Model 3285 with another phone same model. Well this one is 10 Times worse, shuts off whenever.
After 4 trips their sells person Chris Strobel said call customer service at 1-800-922-0204 they will cancell the contract because we cannot fix the phone and do not have any batteries for it. She didn't even try to contact a Manager at the store for help. She said BUY a New Phone - Well forget that they overcharge for there BAD Service Now. Why Pay them more money where-as she makes more commissions for providing Poor Service.
We called customer service on 9-4-04, there story is you pay the early contract fee of $175.00 and or buy INSURANCE for the phones. What the hell do I need insurance for since the phone is JUNK They gave us. They voided the contract by not suppling us with a good working phone. Also filed a complaint with there web site, but as it go's they DO NOT ANSWER YOUR Complaint.
I called again on 9-7-04 customer service well same line of (BS) pay the fee of $175.00. I said NO-Way you voided the contract. Now they say you need to talk to a Supervisor, I was put on hold, waited several mins. For her to tell me someone will have to call me on this. Well they can jump in a lake. I do not want there JUNK Phones or so called service.
I am owed approx: $120.00 for time lost from work, plus the trips to the store, time on the phone, plus $45.00 for 1-months service they didn't provide.
Be carefull on who you deal with these wireless companies need to be goverment controlled, they just RIP people Off everyday and pass the Buck.
