Again, TXU Electric has shown to me that the don't care about their customers. I call TXU and spend most of the afternoon with them. All I want is an extension for 5 days so my service will not be terminated. I just paid the
past due amount of $206 on 8-9-04, but still owe $199.11 for the current bill.
They refer me to "help agencies". I call just to see what they say. Sure enough, I don't qualify. Customer Service tells me there is not a thing that they can (will) do
about it. They have payment extension plans, that again, I don't qualify for because I have been late in the last 12 months with TXU.
In other words, if you have perfect credit with TXU, they will work with you and help you. If you do not have perfect credit with TXU, they won't help you and you better pay the bill or it will really cost you!
I don't have the $200 to pay them until 8-27, but they want it before and will terminate if it isn't there. Then I will have to pay close to $1,000 to have it turned back on. I'm at that rock and the hard spot thing...
