Ripoff the company took my $300 deposit but never picked up my stuff Brooklyn New York

I was promised pick up and delivery of my belongings by memorial day of this year, and the company took my $300 deposit but never picked up my stuff. They have refused to return my calls, emails, and letters. I even wrote to the "president" of the company, if this company does even exist. I am still waiting for a refund.
