Oil depot conducted a state inspection on the vehicle and did not close the hood properly. As owner was driving down the ave. The hood popped up. Called business to have some assistance with the hood and they never came down to help. Hood popped up approx one mile or less away. Police offcer assisted with closing hood and wrote a service report. Went back to business and they would not accept responsibility. Damage to hood 1750.00 as estimated by chevy part and service dept.
