My daughter got a job in Valdez, AK rather suddenly and had to just pick up and go. No time to buy a phone card.
When she got settled in up there she called me collect, in Seattle, to give me her contact information. We spoke for 4 minutes.
Two days ago I got my regular phone bill and on it is a charge (including taxes, fees, ect., from ZeroPlus Dialing/Opticom, of $36.99 for that call, in addition to the regular phone charges. Everyone I have told this to is outraged.
