My daughter's friend moved out of town and called collect from a pay phone at her new school.integretel on behalf of Opticom charged $26.06 for a 23 minute call. This is well over a dollar a minute, for a call which barely rates as long distance. Other companies charge under 5 cents a minute for such calls. This is a total ripoff designed to take advantage of the poor and ignorant.
These charges should be reduced to the usual fee for long distance.integretel and Opticom should be fined and put out of business by the FCC.
