While I was away in Operation Enduring Freedom, I collect called my fiancee. We recieved a bill in her former husband's name about a year later for $161.74. We didn't have money & the bill fell into Allied Interstate's Collection Agency in Amherst, NY. They offered a settlement of $113.21. We paid the amount in full.
Now, AT&T is sending her former husband a bill for $48.53. Does AT&T honor agreements? In the beginning of the year, I made some collect calls when I was away in Mississippi with the military. The bill just arrived for $90.84. Is AT&T in the business of ripping off supporters of military personnel while they are away? If we pay this amount, will we continue to be charged?
