Cramming unauthorized phone billing ripoff

I received either direct or automated phone calls from Allied Interstate during the month of March. When I received my local phone bill today, I discovered that these phone calls were listed as collect calls. They use a number that is listed in Toronto, ON. Allied does not indicate that by listening to the automated message or simply picking up the phone you are agreeing to accept collect charges.

I have filed a complaint with the IL Public Utilities Commission. Be sure to check your phone bill if you receive calls from Allied!
