I used Purolator to send a package from Winnipeg, Manitoba to my destination Kemptville, Ontario. I received my package damaged. Somebody had driven over it with a truck of some kind because the tire marks were on the box.
I contacted the claims dept.in New Brunswick and talked to Chantal 1-800-461-0540 EXT. #64629 who said that I would be refunded and paid compensation for the damaged goods.
I received part of my compensation and was told that to receive the full refund that I had to call and inform personnel in Mississauga. I talked to Kim 1-888-744-7123 and was told that everything would be taken care of and I should get the rest of my refund shortly. $93.41.2 weeks went by and still nothing. I contacted Kim again and was told that I received it in full. I told her that is not true. Kim said everything was paid in full.
Kim gave me somebody else to talk to. I called Rowena 1-905-712-1084 and informed her of my situation. Rowena said that she would contact me back. Rowena called back a few days later and said that it is Kims responsibility and not hers. I once again called Kim and got her voice mail (like several times before) and told her what Rowena had said.
I received a message several days later by Kim that I was refunded and that I should call my bank and verify this. What does my bank have to do with the refund. I find that Kim was just giving me the run-around and wasting my time and hoping that I would just give up.
