I was contacted by Vacation Promotions over the phone. I purchased a vacation package for $400. I returned the package to the company as instructed in order to receive a refund. The company received my package on July 31st. On August 23rd they told me that it would take 30 to 60 days to process my refund. I called back a month later and was told the refund had not been process yet. I called back on October 13th and was told that the refund would be done in about 10 days. On October 23rd I contacted the company again and only could leave a voice message. On November 5th I contacted them again and was told that the refund was put through. After a couple of days I checked my Visa statement and there was no credit on my card. I talked to a representative at my bank and was told that they have had numerous complaints regarding this company and because it was past the 30 day mark the bank could not help me launch a complaint (this is how they scam you by putting you off for months so that your banks are then powerless to help you out).
