I want to post this so many others won't be cheated again.
My household goods were picked up in New Jersey by Star of David on 5/10. I first called around 5/23, and the general manager of Star of David Moving, Sindy Rosavo, pissed me off right away. She wanted me to be aware of that I as a customer will not expect any call regarding delivery status except only one call on the day prior to the delivery. Then I called and faxed at least 10 times. Their sales were prohabited from talking to me per the sales. I managed to spoke to Ron, their dispatcher. I was told there was no information, then 100% sure already in California, then still in Texas. Finally the carrier, Atlantis Van Lines (doing business for Star of David), called me telling me my stuff was in Texas as of 6/18/04. The driver would stop in Arizona and LA, then come to San Jose for me around 6/19 or 6/20 (in two days!).
Nothing happened of course. I called again on 6/21. The first guy told me "of course we called you but no one answer the calls. The driver left." Then I talked with Near (boss). He was vague. The third time I spoke to Near the same day. He finally told me, "Your stuff is still in New Jersey. There is a mistake. Tell your wife we are sorry."
By the way, my wife is 8.5 month pregnent.
I know at least three individuals who are fighting together with Star of David Moving. Let's join hands
