When I received my Bell South telephone bill, I found a charge for residential voice mail for $14.95. There was the name Integretel, Inc and a telephone number for billing questions listed on my statement. The billing date was 4/28.
When I called this number, I was told that the service they offered was voice mail through the computer and that this service had nothing to do with my telephone. I was told I had ordered it online. I stated I did not order nor would I pay for residential voice mail. After repeating this they did offer to discontinue the service and no longer bill me. I told them this wasn't good enough and that what they were doing was against the law. They finally did say they would credit my account for all charges.
A voice mail service continues to answer my home phone. It is a computer generated voice and says, "Please leave your message after the tone." How can I get rid of this voice mail service?
