I responded to an add for air duct cleaning and filter replacement for $69. I said that I also need maintenance my AC is not shutting off so it keeps freezing. The Tech was great, very friendly and seemed very knowledgable. After replacing the the temperature control unit in the house and doing the cleaning I was handed a bill for $330, and the AC still would not turn off. The Tech said he would come back in the morning to finnish the job, there is a switch on the roof that needs reset, he did not have the correct ladder to get access that night.
A few days latter I had to contact AirCare Solutions again because the job was still not finished, and the AC was still freezing up. Day one I called 4 times total, every 2 hours to get someone to talk to me. On day 2, I called every 30 mins. On the 3rd call I was finally told that it would be another $250 to get someone to come out, and replace that switch. Apparently there is no reset to said switch and it just needs to be replaced. And they need to rent a ladder to access the location, because they do not own an extension ladder. If I could provide my own ladder I would only have to pay $200.
This company does not have all the tools they need to preform the work they say they can do, there is no standard in the price they give, and are full of hidden fee's.
