Air Duct and Dryer Vent Cleaning

I set up an appointment with Mister Duct (1-800-691-8044) on Weds. 8/22/07 to come to my condo and clean my dryer vent on Sat. 8/25/07 between 9am and 2 PM.

I told them that they would have to bring a ladder because my outside vent is on the third floor.

I called Mister Duct on Sat. 8/25/07 at 9:15 am to verify that someone was coming and that they must have a ladder.

I got a call from person who was coming to do the job around 9:30 am asking for directions. I gave him directions and we hung up. I called him right back and asked if he had a ladder and he said no that no one told him he'd need one so he couldn't do the job.

I then called Mister Duct again and told them the situation and they told me they would have someone out today with a ladder to do the job.

So I've waited all day, on my only day off from work, and just called them at 2:45 pm and was told no one would be coming today.

This is terrible customer service so I am sending this complaint to warn others about the unreliability of Mister Duct.
