Ripoff cut off my service after only 2 weeks

I had Direct Tv installed in the home I had just moved into. The reciever were free and I had to pay a $14.95 instalation charge. After 2 weeks, I was watching TV, and my channels were all shut off. I called to see what the problem was, and they tell me that there are several deliquent bills from the address I was at. (These were from previous tenants) So they said because of this, that I could not have service at my home. They said it would be turned back on when the bills were paid. I told them that I did not know who lived here before I moved in and it was not my responsibility to make them pay there bills. They said they will not turn the service back on. I then told them what they could do, then hung up and promptly called Dish Network. I haven't had a problem since.
