*NOTE: Re-listing this complaint under 'Blooms N Roses' as opposed to 'Blooms & Roses'*I contacted this company by phone to have some roses delivered to a big name hotel in Hamilton ON (and confirmed with front desk in advance that they would handle) where I would be staying that night for one night only. The man I spoke with promised to have them delivered that afternoon. We get to the hotel at 4 pm, no flowers. Call Blooms at 5:15; lady said they would be delivered by 6. Left hotel and returned at 10:30 pm; no flowers. Called Blooms next morning at 9 am to cancel as it was now too late - I needed them for an occasion the night before and we were leaving. They refused to cancel and insisted they were delivered. Checked with front desk - NO! Lady from Blooms calls me back and leaves a voicemail that flowers were signed for by, according to the front desk personnel, someone who does not work for the hotel. Called several more times wanting a refund. They just keep putting me off, insisting either they have to talk their driver or they were delivered.
As far as I am concerned, they were either never delivered, delivered to the wrong place or left with an unauthorized person. After I get home, I decide to check them out. Surprise! Lots of complaints listed with the Better Business Bureau, this website and others.
I do a lot of buying on the net and over the phone and I have never run into such a lame outfit as this one. Further, they do business under at least 4 different names and seven different addresses.
BEWARE! Don't make the same mistake I did. Use another florist.
