Failure to deliver

My husband and I placed an online order with Blooms N Roses Flowers & Gifts on Feb 12. We requested delivery on Feb 13. We are in the U.S. And my mother, who the flowers were to be delivered to, lives in Canada.

They were not delivered on Feb 13, Feb 14, Feb 15 and on Feb 16 we called and were advised that it would be delivered that evening. No flowers were delivered the evening of Feb 16.

When calling them it just rings, so I sent an email requesting my money back. They never bothered to respond to email. So, on Feb 22, over a week later, we called them and David, who states he is the manager, when we asked to speak to the manager, stated that we needed to bring the flowers back to them in Toronto.

We advised him that no flowers were delivered but he insists that they had to be sent back. My husband asked him if they had a corporate number and he just kept repeating that the flowers had to be returned.

For me the anger and frustration comes from them not even acknowledging that they messed up and that all we were was just a dollar figure. No respect for the person who is sending flowers or the one who is to receive them.

We just want everyone to stay away from this business so that it hurts his pockets and he loses his business. If enough people boycott his shop he will figure out that karma did come full circle.

You cannot treat people in this manner and it was so disappointing where my mom was expecting flowers and she didn't get anything. She is 69 years old and this was a tradition I have always done for her and this year I had to live with knowing I let her down.
