Last year my wife used a "free credit report offer"from the internet. She contacted CIC and the credit card company several times before getting the charge removed. Before the thirty free days of the service were up she indicated on the internet site that she did not want to subscribe to their service.
Paying the bills today I again find a $73.73 charge on her credit card. Maybe those of us who've had this same problem should also name the credit card service along with CIC, as hers was not very helpful in resolving this problem the last time. She also asked the credit card company to not accept any further billing from this organization.
