Bought motorcycle on EBay - checked out the EBay suggested and endorsed bike haulers - HaulBikes LOOKED great in their fancy (LYING!) web pages - but experience has sadly exposed the FACT that all the glitter ENDS right there!
I requested a 4 week delay in shipping, due to other commitments that prevented earlier delivery - BIG mistake - even WITH that full months delay, HaulBikes was STILL unable to make a delivery in anything less than a full *2 months! *
Fact is, over 6 weeks have now passed, and after *4* outright and deliberate lies as to supposed shipping dates, the latest is that the bike will now be delivered on about the 15th of October - when the shipping contract was signed clear back on August 18! Fact is, there's serious doubt in my mind WHEN I will actually receive my bike - and if HaulBikes.com is so incompetent and dishonest in their delivery - what is their care and handling of the bike going to prove to be?
An Internet search will show TONS of similar complaints against HaulBikes.com - including a bunch with the Better Business Bureau, all just like mine! EBay shares in the blame, because THEY endorse and suggest HaulBikes.com as a shipper, yet provides NO feedback of HaulBikes performance, as they do with EBay buyers and sellers - if I knew THEN what I know NOW, I would never have contracted with Haulbikes.com - their steady stream of lies and excuses are an insult to their customer's intelligence!
For sure, I will never buy another bike or similar vehicle on EBay that will require transport - THIS experience has taught me a lesson I'm not ABOUT to forget!
Be forewarned, do NOT use HaulBikes.com for ANY form of vehicle or motorcycle transport, you save yourself loads of anger and frustration - and likely. $ as well.
