I contracted with Protect America for a security system in Aug. The system did not fit my windows and I could not resolve the problems, so after speaking with them, I sent the system back overnight delivery and was assured by representatives of their company that I would not be charged.in September, I was charge $44.99 out of my account for services I had never received. I am still fighting to get my money back, I have never been refunded the unauthorized charges.
I have contacted and filed with the Better Business Bureau, with Protect America's 'CEO' complaint department, they all agree I am due a refund, however, I have yet to receive my money back, they tell me every time I call that it will be deposited, but it never has been.
Do NOT make the same mistake I made, contract with a reputable firm like ADT, don't try General Electric's Protect America, they are a bunch of thieves who will lie to you, steal your money, and do it with a sweet, condescending voice, put multiple people on the phone with you but never resolve your issues.
