A few years ago I recieved 2 free one year magazine subscriptions of my choice. One of the magazines i chose was the Sporting News.
After the one year subscription expired I kept getting the magazines and then was billed unauthorized for another years subscription on my credit card without my consent.
I was mad but let them renew it for another year only since i really enjoyed my weekly Sporting News. Then the same thing happened again after that years subscription expired. More magazines and another unauthorized renewel charge on my credit card. This time I disputed the charge and canceled the so called renewel that wasnt authorized. Luckily the charges were cancelled.
Now recently Ive gotten telemarketing calls about renewing my subscription, even though my phone number is on the 800-donot call list. Can someone at the Sporting News please explain these past circumstances. I used to be a loyal reade
