I have subscribed to Reader's Digest for years. This year I chose not to renew my subscription and just let it expire. The magazines eventually stopped coming, but then I got a bill saying I owe $17.98 for "several issues of a magazine" mailed to my address.
If they chose to keep sending the magazine to me based on the assumption that I would again renew my subscription, that is their decision and their loss.
I DID NOT RENEW MY SUBSCRIPTION!
Also, they did not provide me with a contact phone number to dispute the bill.
