How I wish I would have checked usacomplaints.com before ever buying my Mother of the Bride dress through these crooks! I am a size 12 and all I wanted was 2 inches added to the sleeves. That is the only alteration I asked for. When I got the dress, there was heavy lining in the entire bodice area that made it feel like I was wearing a winter coat. I also made me look like a size 16! My size 12 was more like a size 8 and I couldn't get the zipper zipped. I am a tall woman, 5 feet 9 inches, but the dress was seven inches too long! And the worst thing! There was nothing added to the sleeves. I wanted to cry! I contacted the company that gave a New Jersey address, but by now I knew the dress was made in Communist China. The contact said I would not get a refund because it was a custom dress... Meaning, I added 2" on to the sleeves. When I told her that the custom work was not done, she said, "Mail it back at your expense and we'll do the sleeves. If you want to return it, you'll have to pay 30% restocking fee." I wasn't about to pay postage to China and the 30% restocking fee AND the cost of a new dress, so I cut my losses after telling these people I should have known better than to deal with Communists! I donated the monstrosity to a local Goodwill even though I know there is no woman on earth that can wear that awful thing. What a ripoff!!!
