My name is Sandra Rodriguez. I visited your Hollister at the Block in the city of Orange on Monday Dec. 13 around 11a. M and purchased about $75. Oo worth of tops for ladies. I paid about 23. Oo dollars on a "target visa gift card" and the rest was paid with my debit card. The sales associate gave me the option to keep, or dispose of the "visa gift card" since there was a balance of zero on it (after my transaction of 23.00 dollars) and I replied that it would be fine, since I had knowledge that nothing was left on it. Upon returning home I discovered that one of the tops cost more than the others, even though they were the same exact shirt just different color. When I returned the top, that same day around 1:30 p. M, I was given credit but was never told that it was credited to the target gift card and not to my debit card. The sales associate even swiped my debit card to do the refund. I no longer have the card since the sales person at your Hollister store threw it away when she asked if I wanted it back since the balance was zero. So now I have a 12.94 credit on a gift card that doesn’t exist. When I realized that the money was never refunded to me, I called the Hollister store at the block in orange, and spoke to many different associates throughout a period of time, when weeks later, I finally spoke to an associate named Tiffany. She looked back on their store records, and finally came to the conclusion that the credit was to the gift card, and not my debit card, then explaining that even with my receipt nothing could be done, since it was on a gift card. I have now lost 12.94 of my money, when your associate should have double checked the original method of payment, refunded it to that, and been clearer to me, as a costumer, about the transaction. All I ask for now, is that my money please be refunded to my debit card or receive store credit, with my receipt, and store records to prove the transaction.
