My rings were left with a jeweler in Addison. He forwarded the rings to Vipul Shaw in Richardson to put some diamonds in and upgrade the gold in the ring. For some reason, the two jewelers had an altercation, and Vipul Shaw decided to hold my rings for ransom. If it were not for the Addison Police getting involved, he might still have my rings. The bottom line is that the jeweler in Addison had to do all the work.
I am in the process of having a third jeweler analyze my ring for authenticity. I mean, how do I know that what I was getting back was the original state of the ring. Was it genuine diamonds, or had it been changed to CZ?
The jeweler in Addison was Ron Traxler with Jordan's Jewelry, so I hold him as responsible as the jeweler in Richardson. He said he was going to be out of town and that is why he forwarded the rings to Vipul Shaw. Why didn't he tell us that in the first place?
All we needed done was to have my rings appraised for an insurance consideration. And, why does Vipul Shaw go by SD Imports and BV Gems? And, he does business out of his own home, rather than a store site. I am not talking about a ring that doesn't have significant value. This was a scary situation, in that I did not know that my rings would be returned. Never again will I leave my jewelry in the hands of anyone. Be aware that there are shysters out there!
