In September my fiance proposed to me with a beautiful one carat diamond ring in white gold from The Diamond Connection. The main diamond is gorgeous and surrounded by smaller diamonds going down the sides of the ring.
It looked beautiful until the diamonds on the sides started falling out. I have been without my for many weeks every time a diamond falls out and it goes back for a repair.
I don't know if they repair rings at the store but it keeps happening. What kind of place is this? Is it normal for diamonds to keep falling out of rings?
I don't wear the ring to work and if I am doing something that could damage the ring, I take it off before hand. I rarely wear it at all now. I keep getting excuses about why it happens from the owners who sold the ring to my fiance. I think they are brothers, but I'm not sure. I care why the same diamonds fall out after being repaired over and over again but I want them to stop falling out. Shotty repairs. Shotty craftsmanship.
It looks like we will be buying another diamond ring before our wedding next year from a more reputable jeweler.
If there is any other person out there who has experinced this, I encourage you to leave a complaint here. The shop should be shut down.
