Ripoff My husband and I will not buy any more diamonds from Zales again

In 2001 my husband to be bought us a Bridal set and we picked out his wedding band. Started wearing them in July and a few months later we had to have them checked and cleaned. Mine was ok but he had a couple of loose stones in his. Ok, We go back again and in six months we have them cleaned and the diamonds checked in both rings. This time I had a loose diamond and my husbands diamond had one loose stone and one fell out during a cleaning in the machine.

So we left them there to be fixed. When we picked them up, we asked why this is happening and they told us that we are not supposed to wear them while doing dishes, shampooing hair showering etc. We asked to see the repair men who was there, looked right at us and closed the curtain after the sales woman told him that we would like to see him. He woundn't come out, said that he was busy and to talk to the sales woman.

After we got the rings back we saw another jeweler in the mall with an excellent rep. And ask them if they would take a look at the rings for us and tell us what they see. Now we just got these out of repair five minutes ago. Mine was find but alot of black spots in the diamond. My husbands same and also two loose diamonds. The more black spots in the diamonds we were told means poor quality. They told us to go back if we wanted to and get something $2,000.00 or more. These rings were each 1 ct.in size. So we exchanged mine for 1 1/2 ct. And my husband got a stronger setting on his. No problems.

After awhile we had a cleaning done and now my husband has had no more problems with his ring. Now my ring the baguette on the side drop deeper into the setting. Had it repaired and all they did according to Zales is fill in back of the diamond with more gold. Few months later it did it again plus another stone was loose next to that one. Same design ring as the first one.

Now this is getting old. We put in over $5,000.00 in jewelry and this is what service we get. Now I exchanged my whole ring after I wanted to keep the same design because that was the one my husband picked out for me. So we exchanged it for a 1 1/2 ct. Different design. Had the ring sized up a bit and only had the ring 4 days. Noticed two flawes in the side baguettes and this other jeweler found a loose stone on the side of the ring. The first jeweler that we had checked the rings and now the second one told us the same thing, that a diamond is the hardest gem and that you can wear this doing dishes and bathing etc. So we took the ring back AGAIN picked out another ring.

We'll see what happens this time. They keep changing their stories on why this is happening and now they tell us it was made by machine. We called the main store to report this whole thing and told us that they want to know what happens. Also the store manager (Wendy) I thought towards the end was rude. My husband and I will not buy any more diamonds from Zales again. But they will be made to clear this up. There have been other customers that were in the store at the time that walked out after they heard us talking.
