Rude, worst customer service. Do not use this jeweler. Vicki will start off crazy enthusiastic and I emphasize the word crazy to get your business. Once my now fianc' decided to use her she went back and forth on the price she quoted; when he was paying cash... So I recommend anyone that is working with her now, make sure she signs a piece of paper with her price quote because it will change.
She threated not to give him the ring on several occasions if he didn't give her more money. Lucky for him she did not win that fight.
I had an Arthritic shank installed with the ring; this is either the worst designed mechanism or mine is defective. The clasp does not stay shut and the hinges have loosen up. When I went in to get in to fix it the first time, along with other things that needed to be addressed; I felt uneasy with even dropping it off because Vicki is so unorganized you never know what you are going to get or when you are going to get it; from crazy stories about her car breaking down in another state or having issues with her rental properties. No one cares about your personal problems.
The other drama you will get from her store is; she goes through employees at least every month, her store gets robbed, she goes out of town for days at a time and no one can give you a straight answer... Etc etc etc. And after hearing what my fianc' went through I already had a bad taste in my mouth about the service.
Her jeweler did fix the clasp but told me that there was nothing he could do to tighten the hinges; so I just took my ring, not realizing that my center stone was still loose as well because I was just glad to have it back on my finger. Now a few months later, the clasp flys open every second on this arthritic shank and the hinges are even looser, mind you I've only had my ring for 7 mths (but it started doing it again within a month of getting it back the first time) and BTW this shank alone cost $1200. (Isn't there a thing called a warranty) I had to put tape on the back of it until I found time to get back to her store on my busy schedule.
When I went in to explain to Vicki that I was having problems again she started badgering me and yelling like a mad women; that it was something that I done to the ring; this went on for a few minutes to where I couldn't take how she was treating me so I said that I didn't deserve to be treated like that; she said that she didn't need to fix my ring and then threw my ring on the counter and then it fell on the ground.
I said that I was reporting her to the BBB and she said she didn't give a crap who I reported her too and then had her new security guard pick up my ring and escort me out.
No one should ever be treated like I was treated; especially when a customer spends thousands of dollars in her store. She obviously does not stand by her clients or her jewelry after she gets your money.
This woman doesn't deserve to be in business and with the way she runs her chaotic store I'm sure it will go out of business in the near future; there is a word called Karma and from all the other stories like mine Karma will be coming around to bite her where it counts. Just remember Vicki there is something out there that see all the unethical things you pull; which is satisfying enough for me. And the funny thing is IF she was a smart PROFESSIONAL business woman she could have handled it in a way that I would have paid to have my ring fixed properly. But now all the other thousands of dollars I will be spending on for my soon husbands wedding band, wedding day gifts, parents gifts, and attendants; will go to some other deserving jeweler that will give the customer service I deserve. So in closing if you are looking for a jeweler I say run far far far away from Vicki Anton's.
