There was an unauthorized charge for $16.95 on my Verizon home phone bill. I do not always check my bills so I had Verizon check and they found charges for 3 months.
Verizon credited me for charges but although they could block future charges, they could not stop this one. I have to check every month. Verizon told me to cancel the service.
The telephone number for Transaction Solutions gave a recorded message saying that the office was closed. I traced Stand Up Solutions on line and called their direct number. Both of these companies are connected. I checked the phone numbers
I cancelled the service that I did not order in the first place.
What concerns me is that this company had all my information including address, dob, phone number and email address.
They blamed a third company web site called employee.com. I have never heard of it but more importantly, I have not and would not authorize monthly charges to my phone bill.
Supposedly, they are sending me a confirmation letter regarding the cancellation and will refund additional charge already sent. I do not intend to pay this and I will keep a close watch on my phone bill.
