Circuit city and sony don't honor rebates

Bought a sony cd burner from circuit city because of the rebate sent in everything even a large portion of the box with all upc's only for sony to say i didn't send in all of the information, i wash my hands of any and all mail in rebate sales let the retailer send them in.
