I traded a car in on my truck. The car had a subscription to XM due to run out at the end of September. I called and cancelled my subscription. I got my credit card statement in October and there was a nice $462.87 charge by XM on my card for another 3 years. I called them up and explained the situation and they said they'd issue a credit on my card.
I get my November statement, no credit so I call them again, explain the situation again and once again they tell me they'll issue a credit.
December, no credit, so I call my card company and file a dispute and the card company issues a temporary credit. Yesterday, March 3, I get a letter from my card company that the XM credit is being reversed because XM claims I never contacted them to request cancellation. I call the card company again and they say the dispute is closed, nothing they can do, I'll have to handle it through XM/Sirius.
This morning I once again call XM/Sirius and once again they tell me that they'll cancel my service and issue a PRO-RATED credit charging me for the last six months.
