I purchased a prom dress for my daughter 3 months in advance (beginning of February) from Promgirl.com, completely aware of the non-refundable policy. But what I wasn't aware of was the restocking fee (my bad). My daughter was not happy with the way the dress fit or looked (not like the pic). So in order to return the dress for an exchange it is going to cost me 10% of the cost of the dress plus shipping charges. So if I were to exchange the dress and the 2nd dress did not fit right then I would be even further in dept to Promgirl.com. There shouldn't be a restocking fee for something you cannot try on and have no way of knowing if it will fit until you purchase it. Pretty ignorant to run an online business with this policy. I will never purchase another item from the is website. I have considered this a loss and have learned my lesson not to purchase expensive items online. I have bought better dresses for my daughter on E-Bay at less than half of what I paid for this dress.
