On September i was behind my mortgage with Chase for 6 or 7 months. We received a letter regarding the modification program so we decided to go head and keep the house. Chase sent me an agreement to pay beginning 10-1 $1085 trial period for 3 months including taxes and insurance. So i submitted all the documents necessary and paid for three months on time. I kept checking on and off every months after that but CHASE always told me that i modification should be effective soon. So i kept paying $1085 every first of the month (i have the receipts).
In the summer of 2010 i start receiving statements from Chase saying that my mortgage payment is $1529 and i noticed that my past due balance was getting higher and higher. So i immediately called Chase and again they told me that was just a regular automated mail and that once the modification will take place is all going to get adjusted. So i kept paying $1085.
