I brought some of my grandmother's jewelery to Azari's after reading some positive reviews online. Father and son working there were very nice in initial appraisal, gave me what seemed like a fair price for all work. Told me to return in a few days with cash...
I had three rings. The first was a soft-silver Mexican style ring, that needed a straightening out of the band part. The charged me a mere $5 for this. When I picked it up, there were very obvious scratch marks from a clamp or pliers, near the head of the ring. I pointed this out to them right away, and the son told me that it was writing, or "a code." I tried telling them it wasn't there before, and that it looked like a scratch but they dismissed me.
The 2nd ring was also Mexican, and soft-silver. The band was thin, and had broken away from the head part on one side. The flat-shaped head piece had 3 small turquise stones set in.
