We moved from the UK back to Orange County, CA. Our household goods sat in Los Angeles for 2.5 months racking up outrageous fees while Dolphin Movers proved derelict. We had to pay and pay, $11,578.00 over the original quote, to recover our personal posessions. (U.S. Maritime Comission Consumer Affairs in Washington D.C. Has investigated and verify my claims.) Customs paperwork was not in order when the container arrived. Dolphin contracted with a TRUCKING COMPANY to process our personal items thru customs! U.S. Customs became irate because our stuff was just sitting there and demanded a full inspection! Thru numerous phone calls with the nice folks in LA and lots of money, we were able to retrieve our household goods.
