I bought 10 ft. of 1/2 in. Sched. L pipe for $4.96. I ran short on my project and went back to buy a 5 ft. section, and lo and behold, it is the same price as the 10 ft. piece, which they will cut for free. Nothing like double charging!!!
I worked for a company which sold lumber to HD. They do not buy by NELMA grade, which controls the quality of Eastern White Pine. They use a grade they call APG, which means appearance grade. As long as it looks good, it meets their specs. What does that tell you about other products!!!
Special order something and see how long it takes you to pick it up. Try an average of 45 minutes, even if you follow their instructions to call at least 2 hours ahead of time.
