Qwest offered DSL internet service for $19.99 for 6 months $50 Visa Rewards Gift Card. I clicked on the ad banner which connected me to Qwest.com where I tried to sign up but the Qwest.com seemed to be non-functional when I pressed the 'Order' button. I had to call Qwest Communication directly to place my DSL internet order. The Qwest representative told me that they were now running DSL for $19.99 for 6 months $100 Visa Rewards Gift Card.
He said I would receive a postcard in the mail in 6 weeks and I would need to return that postcard to get the $100 Visa Rewards Gift Card. The postcard never came in the mail. After waiting about 2 months, I complained by calling Qwest Communication at 800-244-1111 about not receiving the postcard. I was told by that representative that they will send it out right away. It never came.
After a month I called Qwest Communication yet again to complain. I was now told that a button was not pushed correctly to send out the $100 Visa Rewards Card. They apologized and assured me that they will now push that button and send out my $100 Visa Rewards Gift Card soon. After another month I called Qwest Communication yet again to complain. At this point, the Qwest telephone representative said that the $100 Visa Rewards Card was a Gift and was optional if Qwest wanted to send it to me or not.
I complained to that representative that I would not have signed on with Qwest DSL internet without the bonus. I was told that I could call the Qwest Rewards Center directly, and I was given the number to call the Qwest Rewards Center directly. I called the Qwest Rewards Center and told them that I still had not received my $100 Visa Rewards Card after 5 months now. I was again assured that it would be sent to me right away. 2 weeks have gone by now and I still have not gotten my $100 Visa Rewards Card. Buyer Beware!!
