Claire'sBowtique seemed like a cute affordable boutique. I joined her facebook page in May and started purchasing items. The first item I purchased was a steal, or so I thought, 12 bows, one each month custom made how I wanted them. This offer was on sale half of so I quickly purchased, sent her an order form and sent out payment instantly. Then I saw she was having a sale on petti skirts. I joined in the sale game and won a pink petti for 6.00. I received that the following week so I thought this boutique is legit. I then felt comfortable to continue shopping there. The same week I got my petti, I paid for a monkey bow, 4th of July tutu and a mother daughter set of aprons.
All of my purchases were made between May 1st and May 17th. I started waiting for my items to arrive and by mid June I sent a email asking what the status was for the orders. She did not answer my email so I posted on her page. I was informed by her to email her and my post was deleted. I emailed her again and was told the order was shipped. The following week I received my 4th tutu set but that was all. I emailed her and asked what was going on, she replied that she wanted to get everyone's 4th orders out and the rest of my stuff was on its way. Even though I was frustrated at that time I blew it off.
Around that time was away from her page for a day, the posts from people were like wildfire. They were all wanting to know where their items were from as far back as March. I knew that day I had gotten myself in over my head. She got on her page and began deleting all of the posts. That night she announced she was closing shop and that all orders were going to be sent out. She stated that all 12 bows from her one bow a month sale would all be shipped together. I emailed her instantly and reminded her that I was owed;12 bows, 1 monkey bow: 2 aprons. She responded that everything would ship.
Weeks went by and nothing, you could not post anything on her facebook page and she would not answer emails.in august she repoened shop. Any time I asked about my order she deleted the post. At the end of August she posted invalid tracking numbers to a entire group of orders including mine. I questioned her about them and she deleted and blocked me from her page. I sent her a email that showed my frustration she responded instantly. Then she became sarcastic, rude and unprofessional to the point I was shocked. I would not give in to her and made it clear I wanted a refund.
She stated that she was not refunding me for stuff that was in the mail on the way to my house, and not to contact her. A few hours later her husband contacted me and provided me a invalid tracking number, I wanted to know exactly what was in the box, he stated monkey bow and tutus. I told him to refund me for the BOM within 24 hours or I was calling the police. I also stated that if tracking did not work within 24 hours I was calling the police. They shipped a package out the next afternoon and refunded me for the BOM. I then received my box and no surprise the monkey bow was not in there. I emailed her and she didn't respond.
A few weeks went by. Last week I emailed her again and she informed me to show her PROOF I paid for it and used her order form. So I emailed her the proof. She still attempted to argue and I finally said what are you waiting for to refund my money, she then refunded the rest owed. Claire's Bowtique is a NIGHTMARE!!! She will state that she is not a scam because she refunded my money. She only refunded my money after she realized that I was not going to allow her to steal it. She tells everyone 4-6 weeks and then will tell you that it shipped on week 6 so you don't file with Paypal.
