Send us the $480 cost sick bird which lasted us long for 2 days. And won't life warranty

Hey. I just purchased this $480 caique.
Also the guy said I will have 5 days life-warranty for it.
But the bird died 2 days after we got the birds.
The bird was sneezing which seemed like the bird had fever since we picked him up from the airport.
So we called him and asked what to do, and he was just like keep him warm and it will be alright. We kept him warm and the bird died.
So I called him back and the guy is saying No he never mentioned about life warranty.
He was thinking I was lying but also told him I have video clip of it I can send you right now and I sent.
And right after this Indian guy was being so rude and starting to cursing me out.
Also pleased him about my situation that I recently got into car accident at june 17th.
I'm getting treatment in the hospital by insurance coverage which means I CAN NOT WORK for a while also said if you think I'm lying I can give you the policy number call the NY Geico and ask.
