Lied to me about return policy

I bought a fish filter and asked if I could bring it back for a refund if I needed to and was told that I could. I bought the filter and kept it over the weekend didn't open it because all the fish died.

I got my son to return it but they would not give a refund like they told my daughter and myself that they would. They said they had signs up that said no refunds which if they did have we didn't see. They also said it said no refunds on their sales receipt which I do have and it says nothing on the receipt and no cash refund. The owner of the store was suppose to call me but never did. They lied to me most if not everything they said to me.

I tried to get it took off my credit card and the card company took it off but then when they talked to the store they must have lied to them also and my credit card company charged it back to my card. The charge was for 20.00 dollars which is no big thing to me I just don't like being lied to. I guess 20 dollars is a big enough amount for these people to lie about. They must need the money pretty bad to lie so much.

I will not do business with them anymore and I wouldn't suggest for anyone else to do business with them. There are businesses who treat people right and that is who will get my business. We need to boycott businesses that lie and help ones that treat people right.
