Ripoff deceitful return policy and sales-pitch in-store credit only on returns

I went to VIDEO ONLY to purchase a TV after a friend recommended them to me. He had purchased 3 TV's from them in the past - without realizing they did not give cash refunds. I found this out the hard way when I tried to return a TV I wasn't happy with and didn't want to exchange it!

Prior to going to VIDEO ONLY to purchase a TV, I had already purchased and returned 2 other TV's from 2 different stores - both with zero hassle and a full cash refund. One of the TV's was even accepted back by the store without the original box.

When I bought this 3rd TV from VIDEO ONLY, the salesman said, "if I wasn't happy within 30 days to bring it back." He didn't say they didn't give refunds. This is the same thing they've been telling my friend. The difference is that he never tried to take a TV back for a refund and now I'm stuck with in-store credit that I have to use at their store.

They use cleverly-worded statements to make you and me believe that we could get a refund if we weren't happy for any reason... Never mentioning "in-store credit only" until you try to bring a TV back for a refund.

I'm now stuck having to do business one more time with a company I don't want to do business with anymore because of how they deceived me at the point of sale. I'm telling all my friends not to do business with them either.
