Rip off outages overcharges unreasonable disconnected delay of service denial of service

Account is with Supra Telecom. Noticed service was out on Tuesday night 10-21-03 called on Wednesday 10-22-03 to report outage, was told outage was due to a disconnect spent approximate 30 minutes on phone getting a billing problem correct bill was current, no reason given for disconnect. Was told service would be reinstated by end of day. No service at end of day called again in the evening of Wednesday 10-22-03 was told problem was fixed that service would be reinstated by next day on Thursday 10-23-03.

On Thursday 10-23-03 called three times spent over 1.5 hours on the phone was told service would be on Friday 10-24-03. Service was not on Friday 10-24-03 called back in the morning was guaranteed service would be on by midnight of Friday 10-24-03. On the first phone call but that I should check back in the afternoon called back again in the afternoon was then told well I cant tell you when your phone service will be on.

No Service on by morning of 10-25-03 Called back on morning of Saturday 10-25-03 they claimed phone service was connected on their end and that it was now a wire maintenance issue, then proceed to say that I had a balance due of $60.00, finally verified their was no bill due. Called back again in the afternoon of Saturday 10-25-03 was told I would need a service tech to come out to the residence to fix the problem and that it would be a $60.00 charge for the first 15 minutes of time spent repairing the problem and a additional charge after that amount of time claimed I did not have the inside wire maintenance insurance.

Which I do have and have paid the $3.00 charge since I have had their phone service. Asked to have my phone disconnected was transferred to another department waited on hold for 20 minutes hung up called back was then begged to stay with their service.

This started with another complaint that I filed with the Public Service Commission on 10-15-03, had my phone disconnected without my authorization by Bell South to connect new service for someone else who gave the wrong address. No one verified I wanted my phone service changed. Called the public service commission and problem was fixed within 2 hours.

Although I am no fan of Bell South or the things they do, would rather pay more on my monthly bill knowing I will have service.
