Roofing and Remodeling projects, Inc. Has a major scam going with insurance companies. They are knocking on your door and act like they would like to help you get a new roof, however, they don't tell you that if the insurance company reimburses you money for other repairs that you may need, they feel they need to keep all your money.
They also don't tell you that the price they are charging for your roof is over 3 times what the going rate is for a roof repair. They act like they are there to help you but they are not. They don't give you the option to cancel (3 day rider) which all contracts should have. They will try to convince you that you need to give the all of your insurance refund no matter what the amount is. Example; your roof repair should cost 10,000 your insurance company pays you 40,000 they fill fight you and threaten you that if you don't give them the entire amount they will take you to court.
These people pry on innocent homeowners, elderly, people that don't speak english (contact is in english) They try to convince you that you have nothing to loose, however, once you get paid, they want to take all your money. They are price gaugers, in my neighborhood they have charge from 18,000 to 35,000 for the same exact roof and home same square footage. Do not fall for this scam. Do not sign anything with this company, they are theives. I am not the only homeowner that has realized this, others have had the issue as well.
If you give them all your refund from the insurance, they are happy, but if you are wise enough to get other estimates and try to negotiate they will turn on you, and get very nasty.
