I have received several reports from G.L. Valk of Hearst Corporation stating that I am past due on a subscription for Oprah Magaizine.in fact, this subscription was paid in advance, and was set up for an automatic renewal, if I so chose. So, I do not owe anything.
However, the form letters from GL Valk's say that my payments are past due. The last one was threatening saying that my account was delinquent and suspended for non-payment. These letters are misleading and deceptive. I have written back to GL Valk stating that.
In addition, the amount that Hearst was charging is $10 over the subscription rate if the magazine is subscribed to through the Oprah website.
