I was rushed into buying my Entrepreneur Magazine. Decided against it after the dust settled the same day. Mailed in required info the next day to have it canceled and get refund.
One month later a card tells me it's canceled but to get a refund, I have to supply a copy of the check, including the endorsement stamp on the back. I go online to get the check image from my bank, there isn't one. The bank then finds the actual check. There isn't one either.
I called the number they gave me if I have any questions: 1-888-888-9025. They answer on ring 2, with 1 of about 3 different voices that seem to rotate: 'American Cash Award, Please Hold". Then they never come back. I found another number they listed: 1-303-674-8252. Called it. Same deal. I know it's a machine answering, because as soon as it was picked up I began saying "FBI", and they still put me on hold.
Am going to try to contact them by e-mail after this: [email protected] but not expecting anything. I think I shall contact the FBI, or does site do anything more than provide a space to complain
and be viewed prior to doing dumb things like I did? I guess maybe I need the Entrepreneur after all.
