Sleep Country USA's business practices have been very
deceptive to Washington consumers. It's claims of best prices are in words only. It's not unusual to see a pricing difference of $1000 or more on the same mattress set on the same day!!! Discounting off the very high price tags usually enables the salesperson to charge higher prices on used merchandise than what they could purchase brand new on a comparable mattress at another store.
Mix and Match sales are also very deceptive. What happens in many cases is that the box spring is of lower quality, and it could also be a returned product and not disclosed to the customer. The mattress warranty is invalidated (not disclosed to the consumer), and the comfort life of the mattress is shortened. How do we know of all of this?
We are ex-employees of Sleep Country USA, and would recommend to Washington/Oregon consumers to not go to these stores. You will find much better value's in most other stores carrying mattresses.
In the Washington Attorney General successfully sued Sleep Country for problems concerning it's marketing practices, and certainly for good reason. Their sales were not good faith efforts to offer the customer the values expected in a sale.
Buyer Beware of Sleep Country. Do not be fooled by "best prices" and the "charitable" branding of this company. You will spend 100's more on the claim you got the "best deal".
