A Google search for Krieger watch repair lists Watch Repairs USA at/near the top. Their website lead me to believe they were an authorized repair company for Krieger. I found out too late that they are not. I first sent my watch to them in late April. WRU told me that the watch needed an overhaul at a cost of $150 including a $12 shipping charge. After multiple attempts to get an eta on when my watch would be fixed, WRU sent the watch back to me in late June letting me know the watch was overhauled and fixed. When I received the watch it did not run. WRU apologized and took the watch back for further repair. After more frustration, they sent the watch back to me in October again claiming the watch had been fixed. Again when I received the watch it did not run. Further, the crown was sticking out and would not turn. I contacted WRU and threatened them. They refunded the repair cost but not the $12 shipping. I contacted Krieger who informed me that WRU is not an authorized repair company. Krieger said they had had numerous complaints about WRU. I sent the watch to Krieger for repair. They informed me that someone had replaced the original parts in the watch with the wrong, non Krieger parts. As such, the repair would cost $300. Furthermore, they fixed the watch in a week and it is now working perfectly. Watch Repairs USA is a ripoff.
