I worked for Brandon for two weeks as a W-2 employee. He flatly refused to file my wages with the IRS and DOR as promised, and insisted that I was to be paid under a 1099 as a subcontractor. However still no check 9 days later.
We traveled to work together, I worked under his supervision (I had to drive... Some story about his truck being in the shop.) and he specified starting and finishing times. Therefore nder state law this is a W-2 job. Now I have to file a mountain of paperwork, and no paycheck.
Brandon then had the nerve to tell me to ask for money from a client. (Rediculous because I worked on 3 client's job sites).
I tried that... The client said they he still owed them a bunch of work he had pre-billed them for and they were firing him!
Only been in business for less than a year according to the MA secretary of state's website.
Won't answer his phone for employees or clients. Unless I call from a phone number he never saw before on his caller ID.
