Definitely shady business practices here. I knew somebody that worked there. They had a huge amount of unpaid hours, were untold about changes on wages for services, and were used in every way possible. Business agreements were later revoked when they could not make payroll. The person that worked there wished that they would have gotten everything in a written agreement because everything would change a month later putting them out. They would work a bunch of hours under a certain contracted wage and later get a check for way less because the management had charged the client less that what was told cutting the employees commision. People have quit because they are worried about having the same thing happen to them. They use employees in such a unethical way. The ex-employee said that Northstar is barely hanging on and cuts the employees to stay going. Well, with unpaid wages and misreported taxes, sounds like an audit would do some good by cleaning up this place.
