I bought a Sony notebook from circuit city 12.
It was to have a free wireless lan card rebate and a discount for an adapter.
The wireless lan card is a scam. Valued at $100 for free... Right! I have called, scan, emailed, faxed info.
Called 1-800-665-2860 and asked to speak with a supervisor - John Miller. He said they received original request and the re-submission of all receipts that I sent.
He said that the serial number I gave was invalid. I gave the number directly off the computer, which was the same as submitted and he said it still showed invalid.
He said he would put in a special request and I should receive some information between 5 - 10 days. I haven't heard from anyone. It has been six months. Never buy anything with a rebate! Especially for Circuit City!
